Product description Megatron Mini LED outdoor spotlight with motion detector ispot® 10W/840 - neutral white
Megatron Mini LED outdoor spotlight with motion sensor ispot® 10W/840 - neutral white.
The Megatron Mini LED outdoor spotlight ispot® MT69061 with PIR sensor provides an automatic outdoor lighting solution. The PIR sensor detects motion and automatically turns on the light when people approach. The sensor's time duration and detection range can be individually adjusted to achieve the desired lighting configuration.
The ispot® outdoor spotlights are equipped with integrated neutral white SMD chips and an integrated driver. The quick connectors on the back allow for easy installation. The robust housing made of die-cast aluminum and safety glass protects the luminaire from damage and ensures a long service life. Rated for AC220-240V, the ispot® provides a reliable lighting solution for a variety of outdoor applications.
The ispot® outdoor spotlights feature a variable switching time from approximately 10 seconds to approximately 10 minutes and a PIR detection range of up to 10 meters at a 90° angle. The twilight function allows adjustment between 5lx and approx. 2000lx to adjust the lighting according to the ambient light conditions. The PIR sensor uses the Passive Infrared (PIR) detection method and turns the light on immediately when motion is detected.
The kit includes a junction box and an integrated PIR sensor, making installation even easier. The Megatron Mini LED outdoor spotlights ispot® MT69061 provide a reliable lighting solution for a variety of outdoor applications, such as patios, gardens, driveways or parking lots.
Outdoor PIR sensor
An outdoor PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) sensor is an electronic device used to detect motion and body heat outdoors. These sensors are often used in outdoor lighting fixtures to automatically turn lights on and off when motion is detected.
A PIR sensor works by detecting infrared radiation emitted by bodies and objects. When an object moves within the sensor's detection range, the sensor registers the change in infrared radiation and triggers a signal to turn on the lighting.
One advantage of outdoor PIR sensors is their ability to save energy and money because they are only turned on when needed. When no one is within the sensor's detection range, the lighting remains off and does not consume energy.
In addition, PIR sensors can help improve security by deterring potential intruders at night. Automatic lighting can also help prevent accidents and falls in dark areas.
However, it is important to ensure proper placement when installing PIR sensors. The sensor's detection area should be oriented to cover only the desired areas to avoid false triggering. Too large a detection area can cause unnecessary lighting and reduce lamp life.
