Osram to become climate neutral by 2030

Climate protection and the reduction of climate-damaging emissions are a global challenge. Osram recognizes its responsibility as a manufacturing company and is committed to making a contribution to mitigating climate change. In order to consistently reduce its own carbon footprint (Scope 1 and 2), the company is increasingly focusing on energy efficiency both in its own production and at administrative or development sites, with the goal of operating in a CO2-neutral manner by 2030. Osram also wants to make its upstream and downstream supply chain even more energy-efficient to achieve its ambitious goals.

In this way, the company is doing its part to implement the agreement of the Paris Climate Protection Convention of 2015 and to limit global warming to well below two degrees Celsius compared to pre-industrial levels.
