The second generation TrueForce Core LED HPL is the latest addition to the Philips TrueForce segment. It is a HPL/HQL replacement with operation on KVG/VVG or directly on 230V mains voltage. The bulb of the lamp is made entirely of frosted glass and has an almost identical design to a conventional HPL/HQL discharge lamp. Due to its beam angle of 300° and its protection class IP65 (waterproof) it is not only ideal for outdoor lighting (e.g. mushroom luminaires or old town luminaires) but also for indoor lighting (e.g. high bay reflector luminaires). It offers a service life of 25,000 h and a luminous flux of up to 4,000 lumens.
