Transformers and electronic ballasts (EBs) are important components in the electrical industry. They are used in a wide range of electrical devices and systems. But where are they most commonly used?

There are various forms of transformers and ECGs for lighting, depending on the application and design. Transformers can be, for example, electronic transformers for low-voltage halogen lamps or conventional ballast transformers for fluorescent lamps. ECGs for lighting can be designed as conventional ECGs, dimmable ECGs, LED emergency current drivers or intelligent lighting control systems.

When installing and using transformers and ECGs for lighting, it is important to pay attention to the correct specifications such as voltage, current and frequency. Compatibility between the transformer or ECG and the lamp used should also be ensured. Improper installation or use can lead to malfunctions or safety problems.
